When C.O. is finished with a fix it job, it is his *duty* to give the machine a test run. I think the little kids' stuff is his favorite. Yesterday, Harold also got to cash in on the fun. We plan to get Harold these fun little toys when he's a bit older. I'm thinking he'll end up being a motor head like his dad.
One of the great things about village life is that we don't have to worry about all those safety concerns the rest of the U.S. is so over the top about. We don't wear helmets, or abide by the "only one person on the ATV" recommendation let alone use car seats. It's great to be able to throw Harold on something like this little motorcycle and just enjoy the opportunity without someone looking at you cross eyed like you're some kind of negligent parent. To us it is freedom.

Ah, Freedom! What is that again? Just kidding! That is one of the reasons we moved to the country, so we could have more freedom. And ride 2 or 3 people on the 4 wheeler too!
it is all about the four wheeler...giggle :) here in colorado you have to load up your toys to take them to designated places...but we left all our toys in alaska...so the only thing we load up is our backpacks & mtn. bikes...
love the photos of Harold...what a cutie!
