My very first group of students graduated from high school this evening. I had them as fourth grade students in 2002 as a first year teacher back when I didn't really know what I was doing. Those were tough days of immense growing pains. But it turns out, they survived, thrived and made it through . . . and so did I.

Congratulations to all of you! Sometimes days just run into weeks, weeks into months, months into years and it takes a moment like yours to realize just how many of those days have passed. I'm sure you played a very important part in their lives ... and they'll never forget you!
That's incredible! I didn't realize it was your first graduating class. Wow. I am going to miss you, CO and Harold a lot. Thanks for all the great meals and conversations.
