On Our Way

All our bags were packed and ready to go . . .

. . . the sun was shining . . .

. . . and we had the urge for goin', so we hit the trial.
We first drove 8 miles across the ice to Teller,
then 70 miles on the road to Nome.

Stopped for a few breaks along the way,
and were lucky enough to see this big boy as well.

A great start to summer vacation.
