Your child is adorable! =D Did you ask him to wear a face mask while he was up with you on the roof? Tar fumes can cause allergic reactions. It definitely isn’t safe for children to be exposed to such a chemical. Anyway, I’m sure you used a paint roller on a long handle because that works well applying tar on larger flat roofs like yours.
Harold is an angel! Wow! Seeing him doing even the smallest of things is already enough to keep you energized until you finish your roof work. I do agree with Herb, that kids as young as Harold shouldn’t be exposed to chemicals or they might contract some allergies.
Harold is such a nice kid, huh! And, he looked cute in his protective clothing! Nevertheless, it’s better for children not to be involved with such work to keep them safe. Let the adults do the job and just let the kids play.
